Family Constellations is a powerful therapeutic model that uncovers and addresses root causation behind life challenges. Individuals are profoundly influenced by their family systems, and even more so in ways that are not immediately apparent. The reach of psychogenealogy extends beyond conscious comprehending,  encompassing ancestral programming, early childhood trauma, unconscious loyalties and intergenerational entanglements. Factors born in our lineage emerge as epigenetic inheritance through a form of trans-generational repetition compulsion, impacting ‘experiencing’ for individuals as a lifetime unfolds. These collective dynamics will persist until they are understood and honored. This work aims to resolve recurring issues across multiple life domains, including relationships, professional development, financial dynamics, personal health, and creative expression.

Since its inception in the 1980’s by founder Bert Hellinger, Family Constellation work has evolved and spread globally, with growing popularity and application in various contexts, including personal development, couples therapy, and organizational settings.

To facilitate a consultation, we map a genogram and investigate ancestral narratives to reveal hidden dynamics within the family of origin. To restore balance within a soul family’s ‘group conscience’, individuals identify and agree to the past by honoring the Orders of Love. Within the system, and the whole being greater than the sum of its parts, this rebalancing clears fated links manifesting as present day symptoms and/or variations on confusing, difficult, seemingly fated cycles. Constellation therapy is predicated upon several key principles: the right to belong, the importance of order, and the need for balance within family systems.

By acknowledging and consenting to the complete truth of one’s own family, a self-reproducing system of information, longstanding patterns can be healed across the whole family energy field so that members may move toward a more fulfilling life, rooted in belonging and purpose. 

Equine Constellations

Horses are stunning, powerful, non-predatory beings that walk the earth in a state of continuous hyperawareness. They exist in the wordless realm in the knowing field, and sense beyond the veil.

They live in the immediate truth of present existence. They are sensitive, observant, adaptable and responsive, and cannot be deceived by performance. As thus, and according to basic vibrational physics and the laws of frequency, they force us to be real.

Horses embody forms of intelligence that tech can never replicate. They balance wildness and awareness. They remind us of who we really are.

  • How does a Family Constellation session work?

    In a session, the client (also called the seeker or issue holder) briefly states the issue they want to address. The facilitator then guides the client to choose representatives (either other group members, figurines, or objects) for family members or aspects of the issue. These representatives are positioned in relation to each other, and through the process, unconscious patterns and emotions emerge. The facilitator helps guide the system toward resolution and healing.

  • What issues can Family Constellations help with?

    Family Constellations can address a wide range of issues, including relationship difficulties, recurring life patterns, emotional blocks, inherited trauma, and even workplace or organizational challenges. The method is not limited to family matters and can be applied to various systems in your life.

  • Does my family need to attend the session with me?

    No. Family members do not need to be present. Representatives or objects stand in for them during the process.

  • What is a 'representative' in a Family Constellation?

    A representative is someone who stands in for a family member or aspect of the issue during the session. They do not need special training or prior experience. Representatives often report experiencing emotions or sensations connected to the person or role they represent, which helps illuminate hidden dynamics.

  • Can Family Constellations be done online?

    Yes. Sessions can be held virtually or in person. Online constellations have proven to be just as effective, with participants connecting to the resonance field from their own space.

  • What should I expect after a session?

    Many people experience shifts in their emotions, relationships, or perspectives following a constellation. The effects can continue to unfold over time, and it is recommended to allow space for integration after a session.

  • How long does a F/C session last?

    Individual sessions typically last 90 minutes to 2 hours. Group constellations may range from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours per issue, depending on the format and number of participants.
